Acrylic and seed beads on canvas

60”w x 48”h

An abstract painting made by dripping, applying bright acrylic paint by fingertips and brushes to the canvas. The small Native American beads were added in "pockets" to represent various tribes and also to express through symbolism the enforced isolation perpetrated by several presidential administrations. The piece also evokes a sense of native pride in overcoming these historic obstacles.
